In the past few days, I have received multiple emails and phone calls with questions and concerns about bus route times. Unfortunately, I am not able to assist with these as our transportation office has two administrators that oversee bussing that can be reached at 248-684-8200.
Additionally, I wanted to remind you of our car drop-off/pick-up expectations. In the morning, students must exit from the passenger side of the vehicle quickly once they see an adult outside with a green/yellow vest. Please make sure your child has their belongings ready so that they can just unbuckle and hop out quickly. The same thing applies in reverse at dismissal.
Traffic laws apply in the car line. Please drive slowly, stop at stop signs, and make sure your child remains buckled in their seat when moving. Additionally, you may not pass people in line, as traffic goes both ways and passing can cause accidents. White Lake Police are often asked to patrol our drop off and pick-up when I notice that these laws are not being followed, as the safety of everyone is our staff’s priority. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
Have a great week!
