Happy Monday, Lakewood Families!
Last week was a short week with lots of things going on. Our 2nd graders traveled to downtown Milford. They visited the fire station, toured the historical museum, played in Central Park, and enjoyed a cookie at the Milford Bakery. The weather really came through on this field trip.
Our kindergarten and 3rd grade students also got to explore one of the White Lake firetrucks. Their favorite part was getting to take turns spraying the hose.
Friday, our Lakeland High School seniors visited their former elementary school. They popped into different classrooms to thank their previous educators, took pictures, and even got to play on the playground one last time. Congratulations to the Lakeland class of 2026, who graduated yesterday afternoon. We also enjoyed Kona Ice during recess for earning 18,000 SOAR tickets.
Friday was also the Lakewood Funfair! This event was sponsored by the PTA. Thank you to our PTA for making this school year memorable for students and staff, and putting on a wonderful event to end the year! I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful day this weekend.
Have a great final full week!
