Hello Lakewood Families,
This week our students engaged in many Fall and Halloween activities related to our core standards. Teachers read lots of stories, led Halloween themed math games, and of course, our 4th grade students engaged in their annual Fear Factor Day.
Next week, on Thursday, is our first night of parent-teacher conferences from 4:30-8:00 PM. Our second night of conferences will be on Tuesday, November 11th from 4:30-8:00 PM. Conferences are a really great opportunity for families to learn about their child’s progress and to collaborate with teachers around how to best support your child’s academic success at home. If you have scheduled your conference next week or the following week, please contact your child’s teacher immediately.
Additionally, during conferences the lost and found will be open. We have lots of items that need to be reunited with their owners. Please take a look as you walk in for conferences. We will be donating all leftover items after the second night of conferences. We will also have our Fall Book Fair open in the library, if you would like to purchase any early holiday gifts. ;)
