Happy Friday, Lakewood Families!
We had another busy week at Lakewood this week. The 2nd Grade classes had a soggy but fun field trip, as they toured around the village of Milford and noticed stores with goods and services. They also toured the Milford Historical Society Museum. Third grade visited the Michigan Historical Museum and took a tour of our Capitol building. Students were excited to see the Capitol and Michigan artifacts.
Today the White Lake Public Library met with students in grades JK-4th Grade to promote their summer reading programs. Their theme for this year is Color Our World, celebrating stories that add splashes of color to our world and all things creative. Check out the summer reading promo video and attached below you can see the flyers for each grade level.
I am looking forward to seeing you all at the Playground Party this evening beginning at 5:30 PM.
Have a great weekend!
