A Letter to Our Jaguars from Mr. G

My name is Mr. Gignac, but most students call me “Mr. G” because it’s way easier to pronounce! This is my ninth year as principal of Johnson and I have loved every single year here. When you see me in the hallway, lunchroom, your classroom, or anywhere else, please say hello and, if you'd like, I always welcome a kind knuckle bump! 

Some things you should know about me are that I absolutely love learning and trying new things. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, exercising, listening to music, snowmobiling and skateboarding (although I’m not as brave on the skateboard as I was when I was a kid). If you have a special hobby, or do something that you are really excited or proud of, I will always be interested in hearing about it. Also, I think it is fun when kids tell me about what they are learning, or better yet, teach me something new.  I look forward to seeing you at Jaguar Country!
