Last night we had our 1st IAW New Family Welcome. Mr. Parrott spoke in the PAC, then families made their way to the atrium to see tables about Carpooling, PTIA, extracurricular activities and talking with IAW staff/teachers. All of IAW sophomores have been learning for 2 years to be ready for working as a team, challenging themselves and others at the ropes course at Bower's Farm in BH. 3 groups spent time on ladders, in trees and ropes/lines. They fully supported one another by forming belay teams, using appropriate verbal commands and cheering everyone on! Great work to all. Special thanks to Mr. Brueck for preparing them, providing training and direction in his Adventure Challenge classes! Also, thank you to all the teachers that took time out of their schedules to help out! #IArocks
