HVS Board of Education Candidate Forum

With the November 3rd General Election approaching, Huron Valley voters will have an opportunity to hear directly from the three candidates seeking two 6-year HVS Board of Education terms.

The League of Women Voters will host a candidate forum on Tuesday, October 6 at 6 pm in the LGI Room at Milford High School. The forum is open to the public & will give candidates an opportunity to discuss their views and priorities for Huron Valley Schools.

The forum will also be recorded & shared on HVS-TV and the district’s YouTube channel for those unable to attend in person.

This past Thursday morning through Saturday afternoon, the Class of 2027 carried out their Collaborative Sciences Project at Camp Tamarack in Ortonville, MI. It was a chance to combine scientific ways to address a question/issue and do so amongst nature's beauty! They additionally had a chance to work together in some rope climbing activities! Staff was pleased with the attitudes towards accomplishing each groups goals. Special thanks to Mr. Brueck, Mrs. Kirwin and Mr. Groh from the Science Teachers!! We even had a visit from the one, the only, Mr. Stu to motivate the kiddos! #IArocks

On Friday, September 11, members of the senior class traveled to Stratford, Ontario for their famous theater festival. Students were able to enjoy a beautiful day in the tourist town of Stratford and enjoy a hilarious performance of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest. We will study this play second semester, so these students were excited to get a head start! #IArocks
