HHS New Social Worker Poses in Her Office

Harbor High is pleased to welcome some new staff members to our team for the new school year.

Our new school social worker is Mrs. Jennifer Hollander.  She has been a social worker in Huron Valley since 1995 and has worked in numerous buildings including Kurtz Elementary, Brooks Elementary, Spring Mills Elementary, Muir Middle, and also the Board Office.  She says she loves listening to students and helping them problem solve to make their life a little easier.  She is happy to join the Harbor team because she says it’s an amazing school with a social work mission at its heart, focusing on both the academic AND social/emotional needs of our students.  She has two adorable young grandsons, a dog named Percy, loves to bake, read and travel.

HHS New Para Mrs. Ringuette

Filling the role of paraprofessional is Mrs. Sherri Ringuette.  She has worked at four different schools in Huron Valley including Spring Mills, Milford High, and ATS.  She also has experience working in a group home for people with special needs. Mrs. Ringuette is a graduate of Huron Valley Schools and loves working in the district.  She says. “When working at Milford, I really enjoyed working with the kids who were struggling, forming those relationships with them. I loved that Harbor fosters helping the kids who are struggling or who may need help”. Mrs. Ringuette is married to her wonderful husband Neil and has two children.  She met her husband in a Cedar Point group and they enjoy visiting different theme parks.  They have a 14 year old Maltipoo named Lakota.
