Harbor High School has moved and we are starting the 25-26 school year at the Oak Valley Middle School Campus (4200 White Oak Trail, Commerce MI 48382.)

Additionaly, we are transitioning to become a cell phone-free and device-free school this year (this includes things like airpods, cell phones, smart watches, and other personal devices).

Students and families can come and tour our new campus on August 21 st from 9am to 2pm. All classrooms will be open and staff will be on hand to answer any questions.

Also, our system for managing access to personal electric devices will be on display (Yondr Pouches). Students and parents can test out the Yondr pouches and ask questions about our newdevice policy.

As evidenced by the recent cell phone survey results conducted by our district, personal electronic devices pose a very real distraction from learning and outlet for negative peer interactions and negatively impact mental health. We are excited to be on the front edge of this change in HVS!

We understand that cell phones are a vital communication tool for many families. Students will continue to have access to building landlines in the main office, and you will always be able to contact the school if needed. Also, if a student earns open campus lunch privileges, students will be given access to their phones while off campus.

Please join us on August 21st to check out our new space and to ask any questions you may have about the upcoming school year!
