Leadership big check

Harbor's leadership group has wrapped up their can and bottle drive benefitting the Humane Society of Huron Valley. They were able to present the Humane Society with a check for more than five hundred dollars. Students also hand-stitched dog bandanas and cat toys for the rescued pets. The Humane Society was grateful for the donation and held a virtual tour of their facility for the students to have an opportunity to see where their dollars would be spent.

The leadership team has also announced that starting April 2nd, they will be collecting cans for Oakland County Foster Closet. This is a non profit, 100% volunteer run organization that provides no cost clothing, shoes, hygiene items, school supplies and much more to foster, at- risk, adopted and qualified low income children. OCFC  operates on momentary, in-kind donations, fundraisers and grants. Everything goes to benefit children in need.

Cans and bottles can be dropped off in the front entrance at Harbor High School during normal school hours.
