Leadership and community sharing food drive

Harbor High School leadership students are giving back during this giving season. For the last seven years, Community Sharing has supported HHS students at every turn, developing a close supportive relationship to bolster our community. This year, the HHS Student Leadership group is returning the favor. This effort was really led and directed by some of our great student leaders in the building: Gavin Coleman, Fayt Green-Chissus, Jason Januszko, Michael McNally,  Xavier O’Farrell, Eric Owings, and Gabe Southwell.

Student leaders ran a food drive during the month of November for non perishable holiday food donations to support families in need for the Christmas season. Students were able to solicit donations of more than two food items per each HHS student at HHS meeting their goal. Staff also became involved, and Mr. Klem along with Mr. Armstrong agreed to take a pie in the face to support the cause!

If you are interested in supporting Community Sharing or in need of assistance, you can visit them at 400 Beach Farm Circle, Highland, MI  48356; or call at 248-889-0347.

Thank you Community Sharing for everything you do to support our Huron Valley community.
