🌟 Fantastic job, Country Oaks! Today was an amazing PAJAMA DAY! 🤩 Thanks to the incredible generosity of our COE families and friends, we've now surpassed our second Color Run milestone goal of $20,000! 🥳 We're now over halfway to our schoolwide goal of raising $40,000, all of which will support COE student activities and events.

To celebrate this achievement, we’re excited to announce a new reward! All students are invited to wear their favorite sports gear—clothing, hats, jerseys, and more—for our Sports Spirit Wear Day on WEDNESDAY, 10/8! Let’s keep the momentum going! 🎉 #WeAreHVS #coelionpride #thecolorrun

The Detroit Lions came to COE today!

Students learned key traits from the Lions Leadership List that included:
-Listen to parents, teachers, and coaches to learn daily.
-Get educated by studying hard and understanding the importance of the "5 MyPlate Food Groups" and exercising for at least 60 minutes daily.
-Set ambitious goals with a clear "game plan" to achieve success.
-Be disciplined and do what is right—no penalties!
-Encourage classmates and teammates with a positive attitude and surround yourself with good people.
-Be responsible for your actions and fulfill your role.

Way to go, Lions!! Thanks to the fundraising efforts of our amazing Country Oaks families and friends, COE has surpassed the first milestone goal of $10,000! As a reward, all students have earned a PAJAMA DAY on Wednesday, OCTOBER 1st. Break out your comfiest (school appropriate) pajamas on October 1st, and keep up the GREAT WORK, COE! 🥳 As a reminder, the student that has earned the most fundraising donations by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 24th, will have their picture taken with Rory, the Detroit Lions mascot, during the Detroit Lions assembly on Thursday, September 25th 🤩 While the Color Run is off to an amazing start, we still have a lot of fundraising left in order to achieve our fundraising goal of $40,000. Currently, approximately 33% of our students have a registered fundraising webpage. If you have not already, PLEASE register your student(s) using the link below and share their fundraising webpage with family and friends in order to help us achieve our schoolwide fundraising goal of $40,000. ALL of the funds raised are utilized by the PTA to fund schoolwide assemblies, book fairs, a school carnival, new playground equipment, popcorn days, field trips....and the list goes on. We appreciate your support!!! 🥰
