Blessings in a Backpack
“Blessings in a Backpack” is an optional program designed to provide students with additional food. This is a community based program sponsored by the Huron Valley Optimist Club. Our Huron Valley Blessings in a Backpack program will begin mid September.
If you agree to take part in this program, during this school year, your child will receive a bag of prepackaged snack foods every Friday, filled with snacks/food for the weekend. The simple meals may include food like fruit, granola bars, juice, mac & cheese, and other items. Bags will be dispensed in a discreet and caring manner.
If you would like to have your child(ren) participate in this program, fill out the form below. Please fill out one form per student. There is no cost associated with this program.
