Nancy Coratti

Highland, MI, December 12, 2025  Huron Valley Schools is pleased to announce the opening of the new Huron Valley Administrative Services Center, scheduled for the end of March. The relocation follows the planning of the 2019 and 2024 Bond projects, during which the Strategic Planning Committee determined that moving administration into available space at Milford High School—which currently has excess capacity—would support long-term operational goals and better utilize district facilities.

Aligned with the District’s Strategic Plan 2.0, the new center will bring central office departments together under one roof to improve collaboration and service to families, staff, and the community.

The facility will be dedicated to Dr. Nancy Coratti, whose distinguished career with Huron Valley Schools began in 1974 and included roles as Principal, Assistant Superintendent of Instruction, Deputy Superintendent, and Superintendent from 2017 to 2018.

“We are proud to honor Dr. Coratti’s incredible legacy,” said Board of Education President Laura Dodd. “Her leadership, vision, and unwavering belief in our students continue to inspire our work.”

Details about a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be shared in the coming weeks.

“This transition reflects our commitment to long-term sustainability while keeping student resources at the forefront,” added Superintendent Dr. Paul Salah. “Naming the center after Dr. Coratti is a fitting tribute to her decades of service to our community.”

President Dodd added, “None of this would be possible without our community and their continued support of the Bond. Thank you again for all you do to support our schools.”
