Testing out is an option for all students to demonstrate that s/he meets or exceeds course expectations in a particular subject. Test out opportunities occur twice per year.
Test Out Application December 2021: The application must be filled out by the student, approved by their counselor, and returned to Student Services by the application deadline.

Seal of Biliteracy:
Students have the ability to earn a Michigan Seal of Biliteracy on their L.H.S. diploma. The Seal of Biliteracy Seal was created to recognize our high school graduates who exhibit language proficiency in English and at least one additional world language. The Seal will provide employers with a way to identify individuals with strong language and biliteracy skills. The Seal may also serve as an additional tool for colleges and universities to recognize applicants’ language abilities for admission and placement.

Steps and Application for the H.V.S. Seal of Biliteracy : Follow these directions if you would like to earn your Seal of Biliteracy. The opportunity is open to all students including the seniors in the class of 2021.
Testing out of a World Language
STAMP 4S Test Information and Announcements : Informational Google Meet will take place on Wednesday, December 9 at 1PM (open the document for the join code and for more information). Students can take the STAMP 4S test on our Test Out date of January 13th, 2021.
