The Huron Valley Virtual Academy (HVVA) is a 100 percent online educational program for students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
HVVA students are taught by certified and highly qualified HVS teachers. Students engage daily with teachers in both live and recorded formats. A high priority is placed on developing strong student and teacher relationships to increase engagement, well-being and academic growth. Teachers focus on rigor, relevance and high expectations to meet the individual learning needs of each student.
The HVVA may be accessed from the safety of a students’ home or anywhere with an internet connection. The HVVA manual below provides an overview and details of the program, along with resource documents and supporting links.
The HVVA is available to all Huron Valley Schools students. If you are interested in enrolling in HVVA from outside the district (students in K-9 only) please visit our Schools of Choice page for an application and guidelines.
Daily/Weekly Schedule
The HVVA daily schedule is very similar to a traditional school day. Attendance is taken on a regular basis, and each day includes a mix of live teacher instruction, online resources, individual work, and small group instruction.
