Diploma students in Adult Education

High School Diploma Classses

The high school completion program is for students who wish to earn a high school diploma. We offer small class sizes and individual attention. The adult education program offers day and evening classes Free of Charge to individuals 18 and older who do not have a high school diploma, even if they have a GED. Classes are tuition-based for those holding diplomas. There is a registration fee of $45.00 (per semester) due at the time of enrollment.

The high school completion program is open to ANY student from ANY school district. Students ages 18 and older whose high school class has reached graduation may enroll.

Students will see an academic advisor and be enrolled in the classes required for a high school diploma. All previously earned credits will be evaluated. Credits may be earned for: academic class work, work experience, family living skills, and credit by examination. Classes are held at the Brooks Center.

After completion of the required classes for a diploma as determined by the Michigan Merit Curriculum, students will receive a high school diploma.
