Sign up for our Kayaking courses today, offered in partnership with Heavner’s Canoe Rental. Participants will learn the basics to explore our water wonderland, or challenge yourself with our Stokes & Balances course. Class participants will receive a FREE 2 hour rental with Heavner’s.

Personal Training/Sport Specific Training
A personal trainer can provide you with the individualized attention, guidance, and motivation to help meet your fitness goals. We have a diverse and experienced team of professional trainers to meet your specific objectives. With the first personal training package purchased, clients will receive a complementary one-hour fitness assessment.
We also offer sport-specific training for the athlete in your household! Whether it’s pre-season, post-season, or in-season, our trainers can help develop, sustain and maintain your athletes’ conditioning for their season.
We offer 30-minute and 60-minute sessions. P&F Members get a $10 discount on all training packages.
We also offer a "Get Started" Package: This package includes a free one-hour fitness assessment (on first purchase) and two one-hour personal training sessions to jump start your path to wellness! The fitness assessment will determine your current fitness level and identifies areas you need to focus on in your exercise program. The personal training sessions will be used to develop and teach you how to get the most from your exercise program.

Check out SCUBA courses designed for children 8 and up (Bubblemakers) or TryScuba for those 12 and up to learn what it’s like to breathe underwater! Learn basics to head you on the path to become certified, these instructors will give you the experience to enjoy the underwater world. Offered in partnership with Motor City Scuba.

Focus on teaching young athletes to pursue and attain personal goals while learning the sport of competitive diving. The coach will teach quality dive techniques, sportsmanship, teamwork, strong work ethics, and the love of competition. In this, we hope each child will grow in his or her own personal achievements whether they choose our beginner course or our advanced course.

Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Classes
Sign up today for a technique course designed for those new to stand up, or those already in the sport! Learn new skills to make you a better paddler, while giving you a great core workout. Our Summer Course is 2 hours (6-8pm) at Teeple Lake, at the Highland Recreation and there is a maximum of 10 participants per course. Taught by Mary Radtke, SUP EDU, LLC.

Join Huron Valley’s Learn to Swim Program for kids 6 months through Adult lessons. Whether you are looking to introduce the basics to your infant or toddler in our 30 minute classes or refine your child’s swim strokes or learn them for the first time as an adult in our 45 minute classes, we have the right one for you. Placement is based on water skills, so please read the descriptions or speak with one of our staff to register for the correct class by calling either 248-676-2341 or 248-676-2346.

Learn to Swim Private Swim Lessons
Individual as well as semi-private lessons are available for children or adults who would like to work on special skills or are in need of individualized attention. Private lessons are designed for those who would like to have instruction at times other than those listed within our regular program schedule. These lessons are available in blocks of five half-hour lessons. Anyone interested in registering for private lessons should leave their name, phone number, and preferred days/times of the lessons at the following number: 248-684-8290.
Know that sometimes this service has a wait list and we will schedule lessons in the order that the request was received. We appreciate your patience while we get back to you in a timely fashion.
Competitive Private Lessons
One-on-one lessons will greatly accelerate the learning curve. Work with a certified coach to improve your competitive swimming technique or improve swim times. Each lesson is 30 minutes long and will focus on the specific needs of your stroke or training. Please leave your contact information at the FrontDesk for a specific coach or by calling 248-684-8290.
Water Safety, Lifeguarding & CPR/AED/FA Classes
Chose certification courses through the American Red Cross at Huron Valley Pools & Fitness Centers. Gain CPR/AED or First Aid training, as well as Lifeguard Training, Water Safety Instructor courses, or Safety Training for Swim Coaches.
