Expanded Opportunities for Student Growth
Classroom experience is only one facet of our student offerings. At each level, our students participate in extracurricular activities, such as newspapers, yearbooks, student government, science fairs, academic Olympiads, Future Problem Solvers, robotics league, foreign languages and more.
At the secondary level, we offer our students the opportunity to participate in over 48 teams between freshman, junior varsity and varsity, in 32 boys and/or girls' sports, as well as SADD, STAND, Color Guard, National Honor Society and Quiz Bowls.
Our extracurricular programs include state and national award winning marching bands, athletic teams as well as performing, visual and fine arts. We are also home to the three time world championship HOT Robotics team pictured above!

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, "...research suggests that participation in extracurricular activities may increase students' sense of engagement or attachment to their school, and thereby decrease the likelihood of school failure and dropping out."
