          As the Principal of Oak Valley, I am pleased you have chosen to visit our website. I am confident that you will find numerous reasons to choose us as your middle school of choice; our team is committed to continuous improvement and applying our systems of excellence to enhance learning opportunities for every student. We are indeed a “TRIPLE A” middle school with measured student success in our Academics, Athletics and the Arts.

          In addition to the above accomplishments, we have also been successful in extending the PLC (Professional Learning Communities) model in working collaboratively to ensure student success. For those students who need extra support, we have developed an Academic Review Board which focuses additional support for students with specific intervention plans and mentors.

          Our building, which opened in 1994, was designed to support the middle school teaming philosophy and students in their transitions from elementary to the 6th grade and from 8th grade to the high school. Our school is frequently commented as being one of the cleanest, most organized buildings they have visited. Thanks to the commitment of our support staff, our kitchen nutrition team, the custodial team and our community, we expect to continually meet and surpass previous milestones as we “build the future, one student at a time”.
