Brooks Elementary Transition Information The HVS Board of Education approved the closure of Brooks Elementary at the end of the 2016-17 school year. Making this decision was extremely difficult for the Board and the Administrative Team. You are likely wondering, “What now?” Students who attend Brooks will be re-assigned to one of three excellent schools in our district: Lakewood, Oxbow or Spring Mills.

School Age Care School Age Care is an extended day program located in each elementary building for school-aged students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, before and/or after the regular school day.
Junior Kindergarten Beginning in the 2017-18 school year, Huron Valley Schools will offer a new option for kindergarten families; Junior Kindergarten! The program is designed for students who would benefit from a two year kindergarten experience.
