Johnson is a Leader in Me School
The staff at Johnson Elementary is dedicated to continuing their learning of Dr. Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People during their summer vacation. We are very excited to have completed our first year and look forward to continuing the Leader In Me program this year at Johnson.
Your students will be taught the 7 Habits:
Habit 1 Be Proactive
Habit 2 Begin With the End in Mind
Habit 3 Put First Things First
Habit 4 Think Win-Win
Habit 5 Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
Habit 6 Synergize
Habit 7 Sharpen the Saw
One of the many positive qualities of becoming a Leader in Me School, is that every family becomes a partner of the school and their child's education, by way of using the 7 Habits and student use of data notebooks. Additionally, improved student achievement, more meaningful parent-to-school connections, increased self-esteem and the empowerment of student leadership, are leading outcomes as evidenced by the results of Leader in Me, Schools and Johnson Elementary is looking forward to what is to come!
