Enrollments must be completed at the building by a parent or legal guardian . For your convenience, forms have been provided on the district web site which may be completed and printed prior to visiting the school. Please call the building ahead of time and schedule an appointment with office personnel. For guidelines on completing the enrollment, please refer to the 'Enrollment Instructions' link provided.
Student must be at least five years of age on or before December 1 and less than 20 years of age on September 1 of the school year to enroll in a regular education program.

Open Enrollment is the process by which a parent who is a resident in the Huron Valley School District requests that their student attend a building that is not in their attendance area. The appropriate form is completed and submitted, and if approved your child may attend the building of your choice.
Schools of Choice is the process by which a parent who is not a resident in the Huron Valley School District may request that their student be allowed to attend Huron Valley Schools. No, Michigan Law, Part 92, Act 368 of the Public Acts of 1978, as amended, prohibits a school from admitting new entrants to the school without a record of having received at least one dose of each required vaccinations. Parents must then follow up to complete the required vaccinations.

Bus routes are set shortly before school starts in September. Letters with route information are sent to students/parents during the later part of August. You can view the bus stop and other transportation information on the Transportation section of the web site by clicking here.
The Transportation office will let you know within 5 days of enrollment what your pickup location is and when transportation will begin.
No, students who Open Enroll into a school other than their home school are required to provided their own transportation.
