It is with the deepest sorrow that we inform you that a student enrolled in our International Academy died yesterday evening. The entire HVS family is mourning this loss together and we wish to express our sincere and profound condolences to the student's family and friends.
Representatives from nine area high schools gathered Monday, March 13 for the kick off of the newly-formed Lakes Valley Conference (LVC).
At last night's meeting, the HVS Board of Education voted 6-1 to retain Dr. Nancy Coratti as superintendent of HVS through June of 2018.

I wanted to make you aware that the HVS Board of Education voted Monday, January 23, to close Brooks Elementary, effective at the end of the current school year. The decision to close a building is difficult for the board, administrative team and the staff, students and families of that building.
