Adult Basic Education (ABE)

FREE to non-graduates

For non-readers and those who have difficulty reading, a warm, friendly atmosphere is provided along with a small teacher-student ratio. Use of computers and audio-visual techniques are offered. Classes are individualized so that each student may work at his/her own level in reading, spelling, and writing skills.

A non-refundable registration fee of $45 is due at the time of registration.

Instruction is individualized and students may work with tutors at their own pace.

VOLUNTEER TUTORS NEEDED FOR ADULT LITERACY AND ESL

You do not need to have special training or a college degree. We will train you. Just be open-minded, flexible and willing to spend a few hours of your time each week helping other adults learn to read.
