HV Promise Hosts Logo Competition

The Huron Valley Promise is a group of business, educational, governmental and civic leaders formed to create vibrant K-16 educational opportunities for the children of the Huron Valley School District. The program recognizes the vital role that education plays in the future well being of children and the vital role that a well educated citizenry plays in the economic vitality of the Huron Valley community.

The Huron Valley Promise is hosting a competition open to all HVS high school students to design a new logo for the Promise group. The winning student will receive a $500 savings bond. Just added were prizes for 2nd and 3rd place entries. The 2nd place winner will receive a $250 savings bond and the 3rd place winner will receive a $100 savings bond. The teacher of the 1st place winning student will receive $200 for classroom supplies.

The logo should reflect the purpose of the Promise. Requirements for the Promise logo are:
o One or two color (any PMS/RGB color is acceptable and screens are acceptable)
o High resolution (300 or above)
o Size of logo should fit in 8 1/2 x 11 page so it can be scalable
o Acceptable formats are Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Corel Draw

The entry must also include a brief description of the logo and how it reflects the purpose.
